This wonderful Alocasia Macrorrhizos 'Black Stem' features large glossy elephant ear shaped leaves. However it has very unique and intriguing black stem that spread out into Black veinage on the underside of the leaves. This gives it an otherworldly alien look.  When it matures the leaves grow very large and Majestic. Watering:  This Alocasia prefes slight moist soil but is also is very prone to root rot, they key is to water only a little but often. Good drainage is essential.
 
Humidity: Prefers High humidity leaves and would love a humidifier or misting every few days.
 
Light: Bright indirect Light, Direct sunlight will burn and discolour leaves (Add some grow lights to promote healthy new leaves)
 
Temperature: Prefers warm environments.
